Engage with Mike's Campaign Events
If I ever hold any, this is where I'll announce it. They're my preferred method of communicating, because it's mostly a short speech followed by questions from the audience. (I don't like talking much about myself; I'd rather talk about ideas.) I want to know what you think as much as you want to know my thoughts. Town halls are where that happens.
And, if elected, I'll be holding them as often as I can. No fund-raising, pay-to-enter dinners with just my supporters. I'll meet with everyone, at open venues. Our representatives are given more than three months a year to spend time at home with their constituents. That's a lot of town halls. One a week sounds about right. It's a big district.
These sections were built by GoDaddy, and I'm not sure I should delete them just yet.
Here's all the training you need: If you like what you've learned about me, ask your friends to support me. While 400,000 people voted in the 2024 general election, only 200,000 voted in the primary, and the top two candidates only got about 55,000 and 37,000 votes. So in a district of nearly 800,000 people, only one in ten picked the top candidates. In the early stages, it doesn't take much to make big changes.
